Gratitude p.1

Why are people ungrateful? Is it wrong of me to want people to show me gratitude? Does that make me arrogant to even think that I've does something worthy of being shown gratitude? But it definitely makes it harder to do kind acts when the response is negative. And of course your not suppose to be kind to people expecting them to reward you, but is it too much to ask them to not complain? And if you do a kind act for someone which they don'tlike is itwrong for youto feel like they should at least appreciate your intention.....
